The Britannia Series by The Royal Mint The Royal Mint's Britannia series made its debut in 1987 and has consistently ranked among the world's most sought-after coin collections. While the design of Britannia coins has undergone slight modifications over the years, they all share a common theme: a depiction of Britannia standing on a rock, holding a trident.
